Guest Writers

Durlabh Singh

Durlabh is a poet/artist based in North London and has been published widely in magazines, anthologies, chapbooks and on the net.  He has had four books of his verse also published, the latest being:  “CHROME RED” (ISBN 1898030464).

Durlabh says: “Softness will open new dimensions of being. He/she reaches out to the universe, to the people, to the skies, to the clouds. Colours become more vibrant, feelings become larger and there is a greater depth in living. New poetry is born then. Being a 'softy' is not so bad after all.”

Elle Finn

Elle runs The SubVerse Writers Group which explores and celebrates the value of surrender, submission and submissive people through poetic and creative expression. The group produces booklets, organises events, runs workshops and organises competitions.

Elle says: “As a submissive I have learnt the importance of concepts such as humility and obedience, learned who and how to trust and found fulfilment through pleasing others. I’ve learnt to let go of fear and give in to vulnerable feelings, this has lead me to become more accepting about things outside my control.”

Ernesto Sarezale

Ernesto has been active on the London Poetry Scene for a number of years, he was founder of London’s first gay poetry group “Homophone” and runs the “Regular Poetry Events in London” website. His poetry gigs this year include The Klinker, Slamchester and Duckie.

Ernesto says: “I do not consider myself submissive (my boyfriend would tell you I'm quite bossy) and most of my poetry does not deal with that topic explicitly. However, I am interested in alternative sexualities and in my poems I try to deal with the paradoxes and complexities of sexual intimacy.”

Wicked Kev

Wicked Kev enjoys writing erotic stories and poetry especially about the BDSM lifestyle. He is a serious BDSM player and an experienced Dominant.

WK says: “In this lifestyle the power flows from down to up.”
